FishAndScripts

A podcast by two Brits with opinions and puns.

Season 1, Episode 3

Backpacks, conferences and GitHub templates

Today we're talking travel; what do you need to make the most out of your 4 day conference trips? We're diving into underrated rucksacks, laptop stands, power packs and turning hotel rooms into a productivity zone. The highlights reel includes how we start new projects with GitHub templates, programming fonts and we explore the weird and whacky names people come up with for programming languages.

We're back with another episode of Fish and Scripts! Today we're slightly less technical than normal and talking about investing in gear to make conference and other trips abroad more productive. Phil talks about his adventures at Smashing Conf Toronto (including the local cuisine he didn't manage to sample) and Jack goes full programming geek and talks about his new programming font!

We should now be on all your podcast platforms and you'll find links to those at the top of the page. If any of them don't work or you're having any problems, please do let us know and we'll try to fix it for you.

We'd love to do a future episode where we answer your questions or discuss topics on your mind, so do tweet us if you've anything you'd like to cast into our net.
